Drakeo the Ruler has finally been released after being unjustly kept in prison since July 2019, despite being acquitted for murder and attempted murder. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office offered the rapper an unexpected plea deal, for time served at a Compton courthouse on Monday.
These are great news for the LA hiphop scene as Drakeo was well on his way to become a key player in the game, before he was arrested. Long overdue.
